Why it's Wildland

6.3

White sand and clear coastal water frame views west towards the islands of Eigg and Rum. From the Morar shore, the scenery shifts from beach to the deep glacial waters of Loch Morar just inland.

Morar’s appeal lies in the contrast: open, pale beaches and island views on one side of the village, a deep glacial loch on the other. The shore walk reaches quieter beaches, but its boggy, sometimes indistinct path makes this a place to plan for rather than follow casually.
