Why it's Wildland
7.0Woodland meets a long sweep of sandy coast at Pembrey Burrows, where the former dunes once concealed a munitions works and the landscape now draws visitors for both outdoor pursuits and a beach day.
Pembrey brings together woodland, dunes and an unusually long sandy beach, with enough space for a walk or cycle as well as family activities. Its appeal is the meeting of coast and countryside, not just the list of attractions.
