Why it's Wildland

5.8

Opened in 1901 on the former Dollis Hill Estate, Gladstone Park brings together a hilltop pond, the remains of Dollis Hill House, a walled garden and wide views across London.

Gladstone Park is an unusually layered green escape within northwest London: climb its hill for broad city views, then explore the walled garden and the surviving walls of Dollis Hill House. Its historic features make it more than a routine neighbourhood park, though it is a managed urban park rather than a wild landscape.
